Think of something someone said to you years ago that you still remember.
Got it?
Maybe it was only a few words.
Maybe the person who said them has long since forgotten.
But you haven’t.
That has me wondering about the moments we continue to carry long after they happen.
A conversation you still remember.
An act of kindness you never forgot.
Someone believing in you when you needed it.
A moment someone else may not even remember, but you do.
Some moments last only seconds.
But how long does their influence last?
Think about the moment that came to mind for you.
What happened?
Who was there?
What difference did it make?
And here’s the question I find especially intriguing:
Does the person who created that moment have any idea that you’re still carrying it?
I’d love to hear the story.
Share it in the comments, if you’re willing.
And this week, pay attention to the moments you’re carrying.
Maybe even the ones you’re creating.
When does a moment actually end?
